Abstract:
For curing concrete cylinders in the field there is a wide choice of curing boxes, and their use will help assure correct treatment of the test specimens. The boxes can be built in a variety of shapes and sizes, but need to have certain features. If the cylinders are kept on the job site more than 24 hr, more rigorous curing conditions must be provided. Requirements of ASTM C31 and C511 are used.*
