Abstract:
Pollcrete, dry lean concrete placed by earthfill methods, was used as mass fill at Tarbela for rapid surfac-repairsn of the damages in the intake area of Tunnel 2 waterproof-and the plunge pool of the service spillway. Plant &sign and properties of the rollcrete are described Mix proportions, moisture control, mixing and handling, field density, and compressive strength results are presented. This type of construction material has been designated as roller compacted concrete by AC1 Committee 207.
