Abstract:
In 1909, the technical press took exception to this author’s contention that factory-made (or separately molded) concrete was more economical than the mono-lithic field method of construction for buildings of limited height. Mr. Watson wrote this treatise in rebuttal. The paper also describes seven types of floor systems, and detailed costs are given for a cold storage warehouse in Syracuse.
