Abstract:
The paper describes the construction techniques and materials used in building the Reunion Tower in Dallas, Tex. The structure consists of four slipformed towers: one large tower around which is a triangle of three smaller cylindrica towers, connected to the center tower by inter-mittent shear walls for structural support. A deodesic dome covers the tower.
