Abstract:
The paper describes the construction techniques and materials used in building the National Bank of Commerce in Lincoln, Neb. It was built on one of the busiest inter-sections and had to blend in with the surrounding office building on one side and small shops on the other. The lightly textured tan concrete structure consists of a two-story high banking hall and a five-story high cutaway section and garden court. [Author]
