Abstract:
Two multistory buildings and a two-level underground garage were constructed with precast and cast-in-place concrete, using special-designed forms. The structures are described generally as a floor system composed of prestressed and nonprestressed precast double tees resting on cast-in-place beams with flush soffit and supported columns. This system was used to achieve a variety of architectural conditions and efficient construction techniques. [Author]
