Abstract:
A free spanning reinforced concrete shell gives an attractive shape to an exhibit vilion for a Denver de-bo rtmen t store. The roof is made loidal of four hyperbolic para- surfaces and is supported through steel hinges on buttresses in the four corners of a rectangle 112 x 132 ft the 3-in. shell rises to a height of 28 ft. fhis paper de- scribes design and construction features of the structure.
