Abstract:
The preparation of sustainable concrete is a key area of research due to its status as a fundamental material in infrastructure development. Achieving sustainability in concrete can be approached by either enhancing its durability or reducing the consumption of raw materials. This study focuses on replacing sand-sized aggregates in concrete with recycled glass and alumina wastes (RGW and AW, respectively) to evaluate their impact on the mechanical strength of hardened concrete.
