Abstract:
Nano-carbon materials including CNT are becoming a potential additive to 3D printed concrete (3DPC) material. Using CNT in 3DPC can reduce the setting time of 3DPC. It may reduce drying shrinkage, improve printing quality, and improve the early strength of 3DPC. Finally, it can enhance the toughness of 3DPC, and then improve the shape stability after extrusion. This research explores the utilization of CO2-derived CNT and other carbonous materials in formulating sustainable and functional cement-based composites for 3D printing applications. Comprehensive printability, fresh properties, hardened properties (strength, fracture roughness etc.), and functionalities are evaluated.
