Abstract:
The first part of this month’s two-part Q&A explains neglecting the size-effect factor per Section 13.2.6.2 of ACI 318-19 and whether it applies to pile caps. The second part discusses if wet setting of reinforcement is allowed per ACI 318-19 or other relevant ACI documents.
