Abstract:
Part one of this month’s Q&A discusses transverse reinforcement requirements of Section 18.13.2.4 in ACI 318-19 and their relevance to foundation elements supporting structural steel frame systems. While part two focuses on Provision 19.2.1.3 in ACI 318-19 and its interpretation in regard to concrete mixtures that require strength testing at ages other than 28 days.
