Abstract:
This month’s Q&A deals with additions of air-entraining agent at a jobsite for concretes delivered with air content lower than specified on a project. It discusses relevant information provided in ACI 301-20 and ASTM C94/C94M-21a as well as limits on the number of revolutions and time to the end of discharge as currently specified in ASTM C94/C94M. The Q&A also includes a paragraph on testing and accepting air content in pumped concrete.
