Abstract:
The Chirajara Bridge was a cable stayed bridge spanning the Chirajara gorge in Columbia. While under construction, one-half of the bridge collapsed on January 15, 2018. Representatives from ACI Committee 133, Disaster Reconnaissance, accessed the site to collect information that could link the collapse to needed improvements in design recommendations. The findings of the investigation are summarized.
