Abstract:
Commonly used details can result in significant heat loss and reduce thermal efficiency of concrete sandwich wall panel (SWP) systems. This article examines causes of heat loss in SWP construction, presents examples of thermally inefficient details, and discusses how these details can be modified for improved thermal efficiency.
