Abstract:
Modern state of computing technologies enables creating and using complex mathematical models of mechanical systems reflecting mechanical characteristics of materials and interaction of them under structure loading. Physical experiment is the justification of validity of numerical model. Combination of numerical and physical experiment was made in process of study of combined action of concrete and steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) in a flexural concrete beam, in compression and tension sides of which there have been installed SFRC sheets working as stay-in-place forms.
