Abstract:
The bridge solves the crossing of Zamora's South Access over Duero river and the ""Tres Arboles"" park which is placed on the right side of the river. The integration of the work in its surroundings has been specially studied in the project. Two zones of a different nature can be differentiated: the crossing over the river itself and the crossing over the urban park. The structures have received a different treatment in their typology, forms, textures and colours. The river-course has beensaved by a three span continuous bridge with a centre span of 100 m and side spans of 60 m. It is a cantilever bridge with-cast-in place segments. The decks, one in each roadway, are beams with varying depth and single-cell box section. They are articulated in both piers and one of the piers is also articulated in its foundations in order to absorb the structure's movements. The corssing with ""Tres Arboles"" park is solved by a prestressed hollow core concrete slab with constant depth. It has three centre spans of 31 m each and side spans of 21 m. It was constructed with a conventional centering, replacing the formwork elements by precast concrete plates with an adecuate treatment to their colour and texture.
