Abstract:
Staff members with the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute recently developed a capstone course that offers practical information on the economical design, detailing, and construction of reinforced concrete buildings. The goal of the course is to bridge the gap between academia and practice and to prepare students for a career in the consulting world. This article summarizes the course and how it can be accessed.
