Abstract:
An updated version of the ACI 562 Code has been reviewed by the ACI Technical Activities Committee and released for public comments. ACI Committee 562 is now addressing those comments. This article is the second of a series of articles intended to explain the rationale behind some of the upcoming changes in the ACI 562 Code. It discusses assessment criteria for unsafe structural conditions of an existing concrete structure.
