Abstract:
Ductilcrete® is a proprietary system for constructing floors that hold their flatness (FF) and levelness (FL) numbers. The system, which includes a concrete mixture that exhibits almost no shrinkage, is practically eliminating curling. Because the slab bears fully on the base, the authors also report that Ductilcrete allows thinner slabs capable of carrying greater loads than conventional designs.
