Abstract:
At World of Concrete 2013 in Las Vegas, NV, a testing program was conducted as the first step toward developing performance measurements and standards for troweling aids. Slabs finished with Lythic Solutions’ Day1 Densifier and Troweling Aid were compared to those finished “dry” or with water “blessing.” The initial results showed that the troweling aid measurably increases available finishing time and surface hardness of the slabs.
