Abstract:
Named after the bicentennial of Mexican independence celebrated on September 15, 2010, Viaducto Bicentenario is a 22.5 km (14 mi) elevated toll highway, located on the main highway that connects the state of Mexico with the capital district, Distrito Federal. The precast concrete piers, girders, and deck units developed for the project met the time and space constraints imposed by the congested site and existing traffic.
