Abstract:
Relatively little is known about the impact of curing quality on drying shrinkage and, most importantly, on susceptibility to shrinkage cracking. This research was undertaken to specifically investigate the influence of both mixture design (in terms of cementitious material composition) and curing quality on the magnitude of shrinkage and shrinkage cracking resistance of ternary concretes containing fly ash and silica fume.
