Abstract:
The Paulina Street Parking Structure is a 17-year-old concrete facility comprised of post-tensioned slabs and support beams, and conventionally reinforced columns. Typical slabs are continuous over six spans, while beams are continuous over two or three spans. Post-tensioning system consists of unbonded, monostrand tendons. Post-tensioned members also contain bonded, conventional reinforcement at locations of maximum flexural stress.
