Abstract:
Specifications drafted by ASTM are essential tools for construction specifiers. They are necessary when writing a concrete specification but relying on them alone is not enough. Owners, architects, engineers, and contractors should recognize that they need to know more about a product than the fact that it meets specific ASTM requirements.
