Abstract:
Describes a two-span partially prestressed concrete skew slab bridge. Its variable skew angles as small as 33 deg and spans longer than 40 m give it a structural scale roughly twice those in normal spans in conventional skew-slab construction. The distribution of the prestressing and reinforcing steel results in a highly anisotropic slab.
