Abstract:
High-strength concretes with high cement contents may create elevated curing temperatures due to increased heat of hydration. For high-strength lightweight concrete, even higher temperatures may occur due to reduced thermal conductivity. To provide more information about possible effects of elevated curing temperatures, a large-scale field investigation of high-strength lightweight concrete was carried out.
