Abstract:
Describes problems encountered and overcome in making an existing concrete floor superflat and electrically conductive for highly sensitive missile assembly. A specially formulated cement-based mix, which included an acrylic latex and superplasticizer, was developed to overlay the existing floors. Joints and cracks were repaired and floor surfaces were sanded before placing the overlay.
