Abstract:
The E119 and Short Duration High-Intensity (SDHI) time-temperature relationships and failure criteria for slabs are reviewed. Behavior of steel and concrete when exposed to high temperatures is discussed, and the principles of one-way flow analysis are reviewed. A listing is provided for FIRETEST, a short program in BASIC that computes the interior and unexposed surface temperatures of a concrete slab during a fire test.
