Abstract:
Reinforcement corrosion is one of the most common causes of expensive and time-consuming repairs in concrete parking structures. Cathodic protection (CP) as a repair method has gained much attention in recent years. Which CP system is the most effective? An opportunity to test several CP systems in a parking garage was completed in 1989 with surprising results.
