Abstract:
Procedures to determine whether or not the compressive strength of in-place grout meets specifications are not available in the literature. Investigators are thus forced to improvise by using techniques from nondestructive testing, concrete technology, and statistics. This paper presents a procedure for locating the areas to be tested, removal of samples for testing, and a method of determining if the in-place grout meets specifications.
