Abstract:
Periodic in-service evaluations of the concrete components of a nuclear power plant were carried out to establish its long-term safety performance. Details are given in the evaluation techniques used in assessing the condition of the concrete. Repairs to areas of concern were recommended and carried out. An epoxy-based grout, selected from the results of extensive laboratory testing of several products, was used in the repair.
