Abstract:
The construction by Henry Chapman Mercer of three large reinforced concrete buildings is described. Built during the early 1900s, Fonthill (Mercer's private residence), the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, and the Mercer Museum were designated as national landmarks in 1985.
