Abstract:
Presents a newly developed precast concrete interior framing system for multistory office buildings. A structural depth of 16 in. (406 mm) is shown to be adequate for a 36 x 40 ft (11.0 x 12.2 m) interior bay. Beam continuity is provided to improve the lateral-load resistance. No field-welding, column corbels, or temporary shoring are needed in the new system.
