Abstract:
Presents a new method for the development of the axial force-axial strain and moment-curvature relationships. Both the axial and flexural rigidities can be obtained directly for any loading combinations. The proposed method has been verified experimentally, is computationally efficient, and is easy to implement in a nonlinear analysis of frames.
