Abstract:
Describes a methodology for evaluating building structural systems. Evaluation technique identifies the attributes or characteristic features that are critical to the performance of a structural system or its major structural components, and the appropriate standards, tests, analytical methods, and other means by which performance can be measured or determined. Examples of application of evaluation technique to two concrete building systems--tunnel forms and composite panels--are given.
