Abstract:
This guide provides information on materials, properties, design, and handling of cast-in-place concretes having oven-dry unit weights of 50 lb/ft3 (800 kg/m3) or less. These concretes are most commonly used in roof deck systems and achieve their low-unit weight by incorporating low-density aggregates, air entrainment, or preformed foam.
