Abstract:
By using cusum graphs of many properties, the cause of changes in concrete quality can be deduced by correlating the change points among the properties. This correlation enables confirmation of the change long before there are sufficient strength results to establish a statistical certainty of it. If measurements of strength, density, slump, and temperature all support a strength change and explain what caused it, then very few results are needed to be sure it happened.
