Abstract:
The enormous strides that have been made by concrete as a building material are scarcely comprehended by the layman. The magnitude of the cement industry to-day is only second to that of the steel industry, itslef indispensable to the other for reinforced concrete constructionl and as it must take the place of lumber for building purposes, can anyone conceive of the coming demand for these materials in the next few years?
