Abstract:
While the comparisions of various methods of waterproofing elucidated in this discussion may apply to a greater or less extent to all classes of concrete construction, the purpose of this paper is simply to compare them in so far as they are appplied to tunnel construction, i.e., underground passages built without disturbing the over-lying materials.
