Abstract:
The Fourth Avenue Subway, Brooklyn, is an example of the use of reinforced concrete on a large scale. The portion now under construction extends about four miles from the Brooklyn end of the new Manhattan Bridge, over which it is intended to connect with a subway system in Manhattan.
