Abstract:
Reinforced concrete has long been jusified structurally but its appearance leaves much to be desired. In realization of its shortcomings in this respect, and in consideration of the importance of a work that would give to concrete an appearance commensurate with its structural value, an effort was made to acquire an intimate knowledge of what had been done towards this end.
