Abstract:
A 13-level, double-helix parking garage for 800 cars has been completed using a Symons Corporation steel garage beam forming system that was stripped, transported, and reset by a combination of forklift trucks and a crane. The post-tensioned beam and slab garage was built beginning in August of 1993 and continued until February of 1994. The article is a report of the events included in completing the garage. (ACI)
