Abstract:
I propose to give some facts concerning the present construction of a bridge of reinforced concrete at Plougastel, over the river Elorn, at the point where this river empties into the harbor of Brest, France. The river at this point is 2130 ft. wide at high tide. The tide atttains a height of 26 ft. and the current is occasionally very strong.
