Abstract:
During the last thirty years, beginning with 1899, the writer has been more or less cloely connected with the study of materials used in making concrete and favored with the privilege of direct observation of field methods used in the making of scores of concrete structures and the opportunity of the follow-up system of inspection of these same structures.
