Abstract:
A concrete structure does not have to collapse and fall down to be a failure – and one seldom does. but in any respect that concrete performance as a material falls short of reasonable and potential expectations, it is to that degree a failure. There are so many things that can be done to avoid and prevent such shortcomings and disappointing results that this should never happen. It is the purpose of this paper to review what things can go wrong and what is practical to do to make sure that things do not go wrong, but go as they should for best results.
