Abstract:
Questions often arise during cold-weather construction as a result of unclear specifications. This article answers some of the more common questions related to dusting of slabs caused by carbon dioxide from heaters, cold steel reinforcing and embeds, the use of fly ash and slag cements, curing methods, and limitations on concrete temperature.
