Abstract:
During masonry construction, cold weather can decrease productivity, damage cement-based materials, and slow the rate of curing. This article discusses these effects and provides guidance on minimizing them, including the use of admixtures. Several tips are offered that will help cold-weather masonry construction jobs run more smoothly.
