Abstract:
It is very clear that all concrete requires a proper degree of consolidation. Even so, concrete is often placed with improper consolidation. Why? The article briefly reviews the issues facing ACI Committee 309, Consolidation of Concrete. The author invites those interested to join the committee to discuss and resolve these concerns.
