Abstract:
Although the geometry is extremely complex, the structural design of the CUBE Tower in Guadalajara, Mexico is based on a simple and clear load path. The presented case study summarizes design issues and solutions that allowed a singular, highly architectural office building to be constructed at a cost that was only slightly higher than more typical construction in its market.
