Abstract:
Modern methods for installing steel reinforcement in concrete structures involve interpreting steel positions from plans and installation of individual bars by site workers. Frustration on the jobsite can frequently be attributed to confusion in determining steel layout and/or too many individual, awkward steel placements. But who ever thought of an automated manufacturing process to lay out steel reinforcement for concrete structures? No one, until now. Reinforcement can be installed up to 10 times faster using BAMTEC® reinforcement technology.
